In her scientific research, Dr Agnieszka Poznańska focuses on the dynamic relationship between language and culture. She takes a broad approach to translation that includes textual, contextual and conventional dimensions. Her research interests include non-fiction and autobiographical literature, as well as stage translations and cinematography. As a writer of poems and short stories for children, she explores the creative potential of language in shaping narrative and cultural identity. She also looks at the rhetoric of marketing and branding, examining how storytelling contributes to cultural insight and effective communication. By analysing the nature of the words of the year chosen in different linguistic circles, Dr Poznańska observes how language reflects and adapts to a changing world.
