I graduated from the University of Wrocław, where I completed bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral studies in linguistics. I devoted my master’s thesis to the analysis of sentence order, specifically the issue referred to as scrambling, and my Ph.D. dissertation was on wh-questions. I have worked at the Institute of English Studies since 2004. Since 1st September 2013 I have been the Deputy Director for Teaching.
