He is the author of&nbsp;<em>Collage in Twenty-First-Century Literature in English: Art of Crisis<\/em>&nbsp;(Routledge, 2020) and&nbsp;<em>Revisiting Loss: Memory, Trauma and Nostalgia in the Novels of Kazuo Ishiguro<\/em>&nbsp;(Cambridge Scholars, 2014; Suiseisha, 2021 \u2013 Japanese translation), and co-editor of&nbsp;five edited volumes, including <em>Experimental Life Writing Today<\/em> (Bloomsbury, 2025) and&nbsp;<em>Critical Perspectives on Max Porter<\/em>&nbsp;(Routledge, 2024).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In 2007, he received an MA in Literature, Culture and Society from the University of Glamorgan (now the University of South Wales). In 2013, he obtained a PhD from the University of Wroc\u0142aw; in 2021, he was awarded a habilitation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Wojciech Dr\u0105g has received fellowships from the Kosciuszko Foundation (University of Utah, 2018), the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange (Dartmouth College, 2021), the French government (\u00c9cole normale sup\u00e9rieure de Lyon, 2023) and the University of Wroc\u0142aw&#8217;s Initiative of Excellence \u2013 Research University (KU Leuven, 2025). In 2021, he was awarded the Iuvenes Wratislaviae prize for young scholars, funded by the local branch of the Polish Academy of Sciences. His academic interests focus on contemporary British and American fiction and non-fiction and on formal experimentation in literature.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He was deputy head of the Institute of English Studies in 2014-2024. He is currently vice dean for research at the Faculty of Languages, Literatures and Cultures and deputy chairman of the board of literary studies.
