Ewa K\u0119b\u0142owska-\u0141awniczak<\/strong> is Professor of English Literature and Comparative Studies at the University of Wroc\u0142aw, Poland, where she teaches English literature, cultural and adaptation studies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Her research interests include the exploration of intersections between visuality and literature; urban literary studies, paratexts and adaptation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She has published over 50 articles and book chapters. She is the author of Shakespeare and the Controversy Over Baroque<\/em> (1994); The Visual Seen and Unseen: Insights into Tom Stoppard\u2019s Art <\/em>(2004); From Concept-City to City Experience<\/em> (2013) and a co-editor of a monograph, The Spectrum of Emotions. From Love to Grief <\/em>(2016).  She has been a member of several editorial boards and co-edited special issues including  Philologica Wratislaviensia: Acta et Studia, <\/em>\u201cAlternate Life-Worlds in Literary Fiction\u201d (2011), and the Polish issue of the British  Journal<\/em> of Adaptation in Film and Performance<\/em>:\u201cAdaptation in Poland: A Paradigm Shift\u201d(2021);  She has been co-editor of the Peter Lang Series, Silesian Studies in Anglophone Cultures and Literatures<\/em> since 2014 and editor-in-chief of Anglica Wratislaviensia <\/em>since 2013.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
