I come from Hertfordshire in the south east of England. I did my Bachelor’s degree in English Literature and Librarianship at the University of Wales and a diploma in Teaching English as a Foreign Language to Adults at International House in London. Much later I did  my Master’s degree in English Literature with the Open University in the UK.

My main area of teaching is practical English and particularly Speaking Skills. I am also interested in British Culture, British literature and travel writing. I am an experienced oral examiner for the Cambridge First, Advanced and Proficiency exams.
